TasICT appointed Mr William Kestin in the new role of CEO of the organisation.
This progression builds on the exceptional work of Dean Winter, who left TasICT as its Executive Officer at the start of May for a role with iiNet.
Mr Kestin joins TasICT with 14 years' experience in the ICT industry in the U.S. as well as media production and international association management in Australia and New Zealand.
Mr Kestin is excited about the role and the organisation saying that he will work to highlight the industry's growth and potential to expand. TasICT’s recent Workforce Plan has provided an amazing blueprint and his plan includes 'reaching out to other industry sectors to build strategic partnerships which will help the Tasmania. Going forward every business is a digital business and I look forward to closely working with government and other industries for great outcomes for the State'.
